1. Content
For Social media content less is more meaning is more critical to have high content value over highly produced.
Authenticity – Why do you think Reels and Tiktok and all those things became so big? Because people want shorter type of content and that’s a big thing too!!
2. LinkedIn
They will continue to grow the video side. The predictiosn is it will become similar to Facebook’s separate video platform. LinkedIn is in a strong position, as the key platform for professionals, and it’ll look to capitalize on this with its 2021 releases.
3. Clubhouse
New Social Network that I do believe it will grow and become more popular in 2021.
Clubhouse is a new social media platform and feels different than the other social apps. It reminds of Blab, if you remember that one. Each room determines its own speaking privileges, which range from intimate conversations among friends to conference-like gatherings with a few “speakers” and a large “audience” listening in.
If you a podcast or are a speaker, it is a great way to network with your peers.
4. Instagram – 2021 Facebook and Instagram Predictions
The main feed may become less important than the square on your grid. It will become less popular and it will be less used over the next year.
- Stories and Reel will become the main focus. My biggest recommendation is to focus on your stories and consistently putting stories in and get the Reels in.
- Instagram creating a more personalized Reels algorithm.
- Brands focusing more on Reels and Instagram Stories.
5. Facebook – 2021 Facebook and Instagram Predictions
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are the messaging for Facebook and will merge to all-in-one soon.
Facebook has made clear its plans to unify the messaging platforms of its hugely popular apps to allow cross-messaging among Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
6. Ads
Last, but most certainly not least, Facebook and Instagram ads will still be going strong and stay the leader for ads in 2021.
- GIF’s are even more use in the Ads. If you create Reels that could be converted into the ads to test too.
- We will see more text on graphics. There’s no more 20% text rule!
